Saint Saturday (one day late)

Sorry I'm late! I forgot it was my turn. :P Instead of choosing the saint from Saturday the 14th, I choose a more well known feast day on the 13th.

Our Lady of Fatima

Our Lady appeared to three children, Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco between May 13th and October 13, 1917, asking them to pray the rosary for an end to World War I, for sinners, and for the conversion of Russia. When the youngest failed to keep this secret, many people came to the later apparitions, and the children were arrested by the authorities. This did not prevent the Virgin Mary from appearing again and performing miracles. She gave the children three secrets. The first was revealed in 1927 and concerned devotion to the Immaculate Heart. The second was a vision of hell. The third was revealed in 2000 and spoke of a "bishop in white" who was shot by soldiers with bullets and arrows. The feast of Our Lady of Fatima was added to the church calender in 2002. Francisco died in 1919, and Jacinta in 1920. Lucia, who became a Carmelite nun, died in 2005 at age 97.
